About Pickleball 101

Hi, my name is Paolo and I am a fully accredited Pickleball England instructor ready to share my passion for pickleball!

My whole ethos around pickleball coaching is to get as many people involved as possible, playing and enjoying the game. Whether you want to play recreationally or competitively, it's a game for the whole family, kids, mums and dads, guardians and grandparents! It's a game my family and I love to play together - this has led to one of my daughters and I competing in a tournament as a mixed doubles pairing......what more can a dad ask for! (And we even won a bronze medal on our first outing!)

I have a background in racquet sports, having played tennis from the age of 7. I have progressed to a strong club standard representing various clubs in the Watford and Middlesex leagues. I started playing pickleball at the beginning of 2025 and have not looked back since!

My interest in coaching pickleball followed on from running a pickleball Open Day at the tennis club in 2025, which attracted a lot of interest from the local community.
